HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEN! Jovi got him some balloons and candy. I made dinner and then I made some peach cheesecake for dessert. The peach turned out really good mom! Thanks for the recipe. I will be making it again and again I'm sure since Ben loves cheesecake.

I found Jovi like this in her crib tonight. I thought she was awake, but she was totally out. Too funny. The flash didn't even startle her.

I got this idea from the website http://www.childplace.com/ They have the cutest ideas ever on there. The card is of Jovi's hands upside down in the shape of a heart if ya can't tell. I think she did a good job considering her age. I should have done two different colors so you could see her hands better. Anyways, this is Ben's Valentine's present. I think he'll like it.

Blessing Dress Delay...

I didn't get any close up shots of Jovi's blessing dress on her blessing day so I decided I would wait until she could sit up on her own. She wasn't too excited about the idea and the pictures are far from professional, but at least I got some close ups of her beautiful dress. It fits her perfect which is crazy with it being NewBorn. The bonnet that goes with it was a bit small though. Anyways, she's pretty cute if you ask me.

So, I decided I needed some sort of decoration for Valentines. I had some jumbo popcicle sticks laying around and some red paint for the x's and then I just cut out black circles. Kinda fun.Don't mind the mess...

Silly girl Jovi!

I have a ton of journals as you can see. I haven't missed a day since I was 10 years old. Crazy I know, but it's just a habit I picked up from the example of my two older sisters.

It's always fun to go and pick out a cute journal every 3-4 months, but I decided I could save a little by just buying those $1 notebooks from Wal-mart and decorating them myself each time. So instead of forking out $60 a year, it will only cost me $4! Nice!

JUST BECAUSE

So, I decided to make a carseat cover. I already had a cute one that my cousin Hannah made, but she had made one with fleece on the one side and a cotton on the other and I just had to make one. I thought it turned out pretty cute. It was a bit tricky working with the fleece and it is a bit bigger than I wanted it, but I figure I can always just tuck the corners up around Jovi to keep her extra warm.

I love my new machine!! I made some more burp cloths and a fabric headband. I am so addicted. So fun!

Six Months!!

I can hardly believe it! I love this little girl so much!! She went in for her six month check up yesterday. She weighs 16lbs. 8oz. and is 28 inches tall. I keep telling her to stop growing up so fast, but she just won't listen.

Are ya done takin pictures of me yet? She is sitting up all by herself now. Well, she's a bit tipsy, but she can sit up for quite a while before she falls over.
